Summer Fellowship Program
SquadUP and Sumeria are teaming up with one of the hottest incubator spaces in NYC, AlleyNYC, to host a selective fellowship program for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Fellows will be encouraged to make use of SquadUP and Sumeria’s extensive resources in order to learn the ins and outs of the social networking and events industries. Participants will receive a hands on education in everything it takes to produce a successful event. This education will include instruction on marketing, preparation, management and technology. Additionally, program participants will have the opportunity to dive into all facets of the NYC startup scene. The program includes a speaker series from industry veterans, shadow days at some of NYC’s top startups, founders’ lunches, program retreats, and introductory lectures on key business lines including sales, marketing, strategic partnerships, social media, business development, and human resources. Fellows already deeply engaged in the production of a major event or a series of events will have the ability to leverage a strong community of event organizers and technologists in order to make their event(s) a success! Additional fellows will work on a rotational basis with established industry professionals and will have the ability to take on independent projects.
Don't just create an event, share an experience.
The fellowship program will offer a unique submersion in the NYC startup scene.
Fellows will leave with an invaluable learning experience and a strong resume resume builder. Additionally, we will be giving away free tickets to the hottest events this summer and providing fellows with cash incentives based on project performance.
